Even though I have been a Realtor in Placitas for almost 35 years, my work is far from finished. In fact, I have a renewed excitement now that I have joined the innovative cloud-based real estate company, eXp Realty, that is rapidly gaining traction across the country.
I Have Placitas Roots
Three generations of us call Placitas “home.” It never ceases to amaze me- that my daughters, who were both born here, are now raising their families in Placitas too. Although their lives since college (U.N.M. on lottery scholarships) have taken them far and wide, they’ve chosen to roost in their actual hometown of Placitas.
I’ve become accustomed to chiming along while seeing them put down their own roots, raising sons here, conducting their lives as gen-X’rs and millennials while I have held unwaveringly to my baby-boomer culture – part Aquarian, part hippie and part conservative.
I Love Placitas!
The longer I live and work in Placitas, the more conviction I feel to promote and protect the work that me and my developer and builder friends have accomplished over the last 35 years. While we have seen Placitas change from the remote village that existed when I first moved here, I believe that it has evolved into an extraordinary place to call home for everyone from singles, and families to retirees.
I want to help others discover the possibilities of living and working in Placitas too, as I know it, anyway. I want to encourage people who are looking for their own place in New Mexico, to consider living here! And more than that, I’d like to be their guide while they explore the real estate available.
After all, I have lived and worked here for most of the 35 years that I have been licensed to sell New Mexico real estate. I know a lot, and what I don’t know, I can find out. My past clients will vouch for that, that’s a certainty.
As I start this blog, I’m anxious to portray what it’s like to live in Placitas. I hope this introduction is sufficient, because I’m anxious to get down to the details – not so much to tell you all about me, but to help you discover the special place I call home.
